Investment Objective

The investment objective of the scheme is to generate steady and reasonable income, with low risk and high level of liquidity from a portfolio of predominantly debt & money market securities by Banks and Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).

Offer Price
During the New Fund Offer period, the units of the scheme/s will be sold at face value i.e. Rs. 10/- per unit.
Minimum Application amount
Minimum initial investment under both Plans and Options is Rs. 5,000/- and in multiples of Rs. 1/- thereafter without any upper limit.

Subsequent minimum investment amount is Rs. 1000/- and in multiples of Rs. 1/- thereafter with no upper limits under all the Plans and Options.

The scheme offers following plans
Regular Plan
Direct Plan

Both the plans offers following options
(i) Growth Option
(ii) Dividend Option with Payout and Reinvestment facilities.

In case where neither of the options is exercised by the applicant/unitholder at the time of making his investment or subsequently he will be deemed to be under the Growth Option and his application will be processed accordingly.

Direct Plan:
Direct Plan is only for investors who purchase/subscribe units directly with the Fund and is not available for investors who route their investments through a Distributor.

The Direct Plan will be a separate plan under the Fund/Scheme and shall have a lower expense ratio excluding distribution expenses, commission etc and will have a separate NAV. No commission shall be paid / charge from Direct Plan.

• In the case of UTI Banking & PSU Debt Fund the return can be in the form of dividend or capital appreciation depending upon the option of the investor
– Dividend is tax free in the hands of investor while the fund has to incur a Dividend Distribution Tax

Mr. Sudhir Agarwal

Mr. Sudhir Agarwal is a M.Com, CFA, PGDBA, CAIIB-I, Certificate Examination of IIB for the Employees of UTI. He joined UTI AMC in 2009 after 8 years of experience. He has previously worked with CARE (Credit Analysis and Research Ltd.), Transparent Value LLC and Tata Asset Management Company Ltd in different roles.

Currently, he is working as a Fund Manager and handling UTI-Floating Rate Fund-STP, UTI-Short Term Income Fund, UTI-Treasury Advantage Fund
