Mr. Anoop Bhaskar
Mr. Anoop Bhaskar is a B.Com graduate from Delhi University and a MBA in Finance from SIBM, Pune.
He has over 16 years of experience in the Finance & Research. Prior to joining UTI AMC, Mr. Bhaskar has worked with Sundaram Asset Management, Chennai as Head-Equity, Templeton Asset Management as Senior Research Analyst, Shriram Financial Services Ltd. as Manager-Investments, Brisk Financial Services and Cross Borders Finance & Project. Mr. Bhaskar has assumed the role of Head- Equity at UTI AMC since April, 2007.
Mr. Sanjay Ramdas Dongre
Mr. Sanjay Dongre is a B.E. (Instrumentation) graduate from College of Engineering and a PGDM from IIM Calcutta. He has been in UTI AMC since 1994. He started as a Debt analyst acting as a support service for fund management activity. He also worked as Equity Research analyst covering wide range of corporate and industries. Subsequently he worked as Equity Dealer, which involved handling all the activities relating to secondary equity market operations. Prior to joining UTI he has worked with Reliance Petrochemicals Ltd. as an officer in-charge of the Instrumentation Department. He is presently working as a Senior Fund Manager.
Ms. Swati Kulkarni
Swati Kulkarni is Executive Vice President and Fund Manager – Equities at UTI AMC Ltd.
After her graduation in Commerce, she went on to earn her Masters in Financial Management from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies from University of Mumbai, where she also distinguished herself as a rank holder. Swati holds CFA charter conferred by CFA Institute, USA. She is also a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB).
Swati has professional experience of 20 years of which last 19 years has been with UTI AMC. She has been a Fund Manager since 2004. Earlier she was part of the Fund Management team involved in analyzing companies across sectors, while assisting the Fund Managers. She has handled Mutual Fund Research, Market Research, Product Reviews and Quantitative Analysis as part of the Research and Planning team at UTI. Her previous assignment was with Reliance Industries Ltd in the Financial Planning Cell.
Swati was recognized among the top three India’s Best Fund Managers in Equity category by Outlook Money in 2010.
Mr. Lalit Nambiar
Lalit is Senior Vice President and Fund Manager(Equities). In addition to managing the equity portfolios assigned to him, Lalit also leads the equity research initiative in the mutual fund business in the capacity of Head (Research). He is a commerce graduate from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce, Mumbai and holds a post-graduate degree in management (MMS) from Sydenham Institute of Management, Mumbai University. He also holds a CFA charter awarded to him in 2005 by the CFA Institute, USA.
He began his career in June 1994, with IIT InvesTrust Limited, where, after a brief stint in investment banking, he joined their equity research team and eventually covered Banks and Consumer Staples. He joined UTI Securities Limited in 1999, where he added the Healthcare sector to his research repertoire. In Jan’04, he joined SBI Capital Markets Limited in the role of a senior analyst, covering multiple sectors while also helping mentor a team of analysts. Lalit joined UTI AMC Limited in Dec’06 as a Vice President in Securities Research. He took up portfolio responsibilities in July’07.
Mr. Arun Khurana
Mr. Arun Khurana is Bcom, MFC. He has been with UTI AMC since December 2007. He is an Assistant Vice President. He has worked in the areas of International Finance, Dealing and Funds Management – Income. Presently he is functioning as a Fund Manager of UTI Banking Sector Fund, and UTI Service Sector Fund. He has an overall experience of 15 years.
Prior to UTI he has been with Prime Securitites Ltd from May 94 to February 96 as Manager, Equities Research,H G Asia from February 96 to October 96 as Trader, Anand Rathi Securities Ltd from October 97 to December 98 as Trader, Merwanjee Securities from April 99 to August 2000 as Asst Vice President (Sales), UTI Securities Ltd from August 2000 to February 2002 as Asst Vice President -Equities Sales, India Bulls Financial Services Ltd from March 2002 to April 2003 as Vice President and Head-Institutional Equities, IL&FS Investsmart Ltd from May 2003 to December 2003 as Asst Vice President-Equities Research & Banking Sector, Prabhudas Lilladher Pvt Ltd from December 2003 to June 2004 as Senior Research Analyst-Banking Sector and Mid Caps, Tata Mutual Fund from June 2004 to January 2006 as Senior Research Analyst.
Mr. Kaushik Basu
Kaushik is a B.Com graduate from Kolkata (Calcutta) University and holds a graduate degree in law (LLB) from Kolkata (Calcutta) University. He has also completed CS (Int) and CAIIB – Part I. He is also a Member of Cost and Works Accountant of India.
Kaushik has an overall experience of 26 years including 12 years in the domestic Equity Capital markets. He in his earlier days has worked in the areas of Accounts and Money Market of erstwhile Unit Trust of India. He has worked as Equity Dealer for UTI and UTI AMC for 4 years. He has worked as Assistant Fund Manager for Equity Schemes like UTI- Opportunity Funds, UTI- Wealth Builder Funds, etc as well as the Senior Research Analyst covering sectors like Metal, Cement and Retail. Presently he is the Fund Manager of UTI CCPAF, UTI Spread Fund, UTI Nifty Index, UTI Master Index and UTI SUNDER and also responsible for equity research for the Metal and Cement sectors.
Mr. Sachin Dinesh Trivedi
Sachin is a B.com graduate from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce, Mumbai and holds a post-graduate degree in management (MMS) from the K. J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies & Research, Mumbai University. He also holds a CFA charter since 2004 conferred on him by the CFA Institute, USA.
He began his career in June 2001, with UTI. Sachin has six years experience in research and portfolio management. In research he has specialized in Utilities, Capital Goods and Sugar sectors. In addition to his current responsibilities he also holds portfolio responsibility and is the Co – Fund Manager – UTI Energy Fund.
Mr. Arpit Kapoor
Mr Arpit Kapoor holds a PGDM from IIM Kozhikode and has passed all 3 levels of CFA Program conducted by The CFA Institute, USA.
He graduated with a B.Tech. in Electronics in 2005 from JSS Noida; he has also studied at Copenhagen Business School (CBS) Denmark.
Arpit was recruited by UTI AMC from campus in 2009 into its mutual fund research team. His current research responsibilities encompass the Healthcare, Consumer Staples and Hospitality sectors. His pre-MBA work experience includes a 2-year stint with an MNC IT company, THBS, Bangalore and an international internship with Mobintech A/S Denmark. Presently, he is functioning adding value in UTI as a Fund Manager.
