Mr. Leo Puri is the Managing Director of UTI Asset Management Co. Ltd.
Mr. Puri, is a dual Masters degree holder from Oxford and Cambridge University, UK. In his professional career of more than 30 years, Mr. Puri has worked as Director and Senior Advisor with McKinsey & Company and as Managing Director with Warburg Pincus.
Mr. Puri has extensive experience of leading strategy and transformation engagements in the context of economic reforms and deregulation. This includes the largest public and private sector financial institutions in India.
Mr Puri has held non-executive board positions in Infosys, Bennett Coleman & Co., Max New York Life and Max Bupa Health Insurance.
Mr. Amandeep Chopra is a graduate from St. Stephens College, Delhi and an MBA from FMS, Delhi. He has worked with Aaina Exports Ltd. as a production co-ordinator and at Stenay Ltd. as a Quality Control Inspector. He has been with UTI AMC since 1994 and has been responsible for increasing the asset value in some select funds. He has achieved CPR1 and CPR2 ranking for several funds as a Fund Manager. Three of his funds namely UTI Liquid Cash Plan, UTI Liquid Cash Plan-Institutional and UTI Bond Fund have been awarded CNBC TV-18 Crisil Mutual Award. Presently, he is the Head of the Fixed Income Group at UTI.
Mr. Vetri Subramaniam is Group President & Head-Equity at UTI AMC Ltd. Vetri is an MBA from IIM, Bangalore and has been associated with Research and Fund Management for over two decades. He has worked with various Institutions like Invesco Asset Management, Kotak Mahindra Asset Management, Motilal Oswal Securities etc.
Head - Legal, Internal Audit & Operating Risk
Mr. S L Pandian heads the Departments of Legal, Internal Audit and Operating Risk. Earlier, he was the Chief Operating Officer in charge of Dept of Operations. Prior to that he was the Compliance Officer.
He has the professional experience of over 31 years with UTI / UTI AMC and over 6 years with State Bank of India. In UTI / UTI AMC, he has been managing various functions from time to time, including investor service, compliance, internal audit, fund accounting and dealing in equities and equity-related derivatives in secondary market.
Mr Pandian is a Director on the Board of MF Utility Pvt Ltd. He is also a member of the Operations and Compliance Committee of Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI). Mr. SL Pandian is MBA, M.Com, MA, M. Phil, LL B, AMP (MDI Gurgaon), CISA (Non-Practising), CAIIB
Mr. Imtaiyazur Rahman has about 25 years of experience in management and business leadership. In UTI AMC, he heads the functions of Finance, Accounts, Taxation and Board related matters. He is in charge of the Global operations of the company. He also heads Information Technology, Administration, Estates, Fund Management (Dealing Section–Administration) and co-ordinates the Private Equity arm of UTI AMC. In the past, he has held the position of Head, Human Resources.
Mr. Rahman is on the Board of UTI International (Singapore), Offshore Funds of UTI International, and Invest India Micro Pension Ltd. He is a Member on Investment Committee of Ascent Capital (PE).
He was a Director on the Board of Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI). He has been the Convenor of the AMFI Committee on Foreign Investment. He is also on the Investment Committee & Capital Market Committee of IMC.
He has been with the UTI Group since 1998 and with the UTI AMC since 2003. Prior to UTI AMC, he has worked with Bells Controls Ltd., Leasing Finance India Ltd. and Sumeet Machines Ltd. etc.
Mr. Rahman is a Science graduate, FICWA, FCS, CPA (USA) and GAMP (ISB-Kellog).
Mr. Suraj Kaeley joined UTI AMC in April 2014. He has over two decades of experience in Financial Services in Asset Management, Life Insurance and Distribution in India.
He has been a part of the Senior Leadership Teams at FIL Funds Management (India), FIL FundsNetwork (India), MetLife India Insurance Co. Pvt. Ltd. (India) and Franklin Templeton (India). Before joining UTI he has worked as Chief Executive, L & T Access Financial Advisory Services Ltd
Mr. Kamlesh Dangi has joined UTI AMC Ltd. as Group President for the Human Resource Function from April 28, 2016. He is responsible for formulating and executing effective human resources strategy for UTI AMC Ltd. and its subsidiaries.
Mr. Dangi has completed his management education from Somaiya Institute of Management Studies in the year 1995. Since then, he has worked with various reputed organizations. Prior to joining UTI AMC Ltd., he was working as Group Chief People Officer in Religare Enterprises and was responsible for Religare's Group Human Resources, Information Technology, Administration and Shared Services functions. During his tenure at Religare, he represented Religare Enterprises on the Boards of its subsidiaries. Prior to Religare, he also worked with ICICI Bank, wherein he was responsible for human resources function for its International Banking Group and Wholesale Banking Group. Some of the other organizations he has worked include companies like Shoppers Stop, Toyo Engineering Corporation, etc.
Mr Vivek Maheshwari joined UTI AMC Ltd. in 1994. He is the Executive Vice President and in charge of Risk Management Department since 2006. He has also been working as Compliance Officer with effect from 1st March 2013. Mr Maheshwari is a Chartered Accountant and also holds qualifications of B.Com, Financial Risk Manager (GARP), CAIIB-I and Certificate Examination of IIB for the Employees of UTI. He has more than 18 years post-qualification experience in diverse streams of functioning such as accounts, dealing, investments, funds management and internal audit in various capacities.
